Prioritizing Your Pet’s Health
Health & Wellness Exams
Every pet receives a thorough physical examination by one of our veterinarians. Physical exams help to identify a current problem or aid in early detection of future issues.
Vaccinations
Vaccinations can be started for pets as young as 8 weeks of age. Boosters are always recommended to young and developing patients, while annual vaccinations are recommended for continued protection.
Microchipping
A microchip can help to increase the likelihood that your pet will be returned to you if they are lost. Generally the size of a grain of rice, a microchip is implanted below the skin behind the neck. We start the registration process in the office.
Dental Care
We offer routine dental cleanings as well as scaling and polishing. We also perform tooth extractions when necessary. General anesthesia is used with all dental procedures.
General Surgery & Anesthesia
We provide surgical care for common requests, including spaying, neutering, and growth removal, as well as emergency surgical procedures.
Heartworm Treatment
Heartworms are spread by mosquitoes and very prevalent in our area. We recommend every dog be placed on prevention. We offer monthly and bi-annual products. Annual heartworm testing is performed to check the status of your dog and the efficacy of our preventative products. We also provide monthly, 6-month, and yearly heartworm shots.
Flea, Tick, & Intestinal Parasite Treatment
We offer a variety of products to help prevent and kill fleas and ticks for your pet. Most products also aid in the prevention of intestinal parasites. Flea treatment for cats can even prevent heartworms. We can help you determine which product is best for you and your pet.
